A 55cm exercise ball is great for people who are petite and stand no more than 5'4". If you stand 5'5" to 5'11", then a 65cm ball is a better choice for you.

Those who are above 6 feet will do best with a 75cm ball. You can also try this easy test: sit on the ball and see if your hips and knees are on the same (or almost the same) level. If they are, then you've got the right ball.

The Captain's Chair

If you have more money and space to spare in your home, then great abs exercise equipment that you may want to invest in is the Captain's Chair.

These contraptions are usually found at the gym. However, if developing your abs is an important priority in your workout routine then you may want to consider getting one.

To start using this abs exercise equipment, balance yourself on the arm bars and let your legs dangle below you. Then slowly, bend your knees upward towards the direction of your chest.

Remember that this exercise is not a matter of speed. Concentrate on working your abdominals as you bend your legs instead.
